Rationale
reflection
Being able to relate to my students is an attribute that enables me to be a better educator. I believe that teaching students be successful, to realize their potential to the fullest, will make a difference in their lives. The Differentiation PowerPoint describes the benefits of differentiation and how it affects the different learning styles of the students in the classroom. This presentation provides teachers with information on how to reach students with different learning styles. The school administration was pleased with the presentation, and I will be presenting this to the entire staff, in the near future.
While gathering data for the Action Research Project, I was able to use various teaching techniques that allowed me to gather data on student motivation and the possible causes of classroom misbehavior. During the data gathering process, I was able to discover what triggers students to misbehave and apply that knowledge in order to improve my classroom instruction. Additionally, I was able to use the data that was collected to discover what motivates my students and what after school activities they participate in on a regular basis.
